Marnus Labuschagne Left Out from Australian ODI Lineup to Face India
Marnus Labuschagne has been dropped from the three-match ODI series against India, as in-form Queensland teammate Matt Renshaw getting a unexpected call-up.

The right-hander was left out from the one-day international team after managing only a single run in each of his two innings during the recent series against South Africa in August. He has a top score of 47 in his previous ten ODI batting appearances.

Team Announcement Approach and Fixtures
Australia have selected a squad for only the first two T20s against India with the Ashes on the horizon, although Glenn Maxwell will sit out the five-match series due to a wrist injury suffered in New Zealand.
Mitch Marsh will skipper both the ODI and T20 teams after hitting a ton in the final game against New Zealand to clinch a series clean sweep last week.
“Selectors have announced a squad for the ODI series and initial two matches of the T20 series as there will be player management through the back end of the series as players get ready for the cricket season through Sheffield Shield cricket,” selection chief George Bailey said.
“The majority of the T20 squad will remain together as it’s an important period in the preparation for the T20 World Cup next year, however we are trying to strike a balance to ensure we simultaneously prepare certain individuals for the Test series ahead.”
Australia’s three-match ODI series against India commences on 19 October in Perth, before the rivals play five T20s from 29 October.
